STAR TREK Sequel Title Revealed and Wil Wheaton Rumor

The STAR TREK Sequel set to release in 2013 directed by J.J. Abrhams may have chosen a title "STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS"

Although we have not yet been able to officially confirm said title, the domain names and were both registered yesterday through "MarkMonitor", an anonymous domain registry service that just so happens to have been utilized by Paramount Pictures for registering recent URLs like their official G.I. Joe: Retaliation site.

And on a further "unofficial" note. A personal source of mine has heard from someone on set that Wil Wheaton is in the new Star Trek movie playing "Wesley Crusher" via "Journey's End (The Traveler)". You can speculate on all the reasons this makes sense or doesn't make sense (Fixing the timeline perhaps?). Wether or not there's any truth to this little tid bit only time will tell. Anyway, there it is!

We'll let you know if any of this becomes official as soon as possible.

STAR TREK "INTO DARKNESS" will star Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller with a screenplay by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Damon Lindelof and that it will hit theaters on May 17, 2013 in 2D, 3D theaters and IMAX 3D versions.
