Finding Nemo 2 Announced!!

Andrew Stanton, the man behind the Toy Story series, Monsters, Inc., and Wall-E, has been selected by Disney and Pixar to direct the much-anticipated SEQUEL for his possibly best-known work, Finding Nemo!
According to industry insiders, despite the writer/director's epic flop with his debut live-action feature, John Carter, Andrew was able to present the studio with a concept for the second installment that was EXTREMELY well-received - so much so, in fact, that if all goes well with this, he'll get another shot at helming live-action!

Unfortunately, no word yet on what kinds of shenanigans our beloved clownfish and forgetful regal tang will get into, but Victoria Krouse has been hired to pen the screenplay, and the finished product is expected to drop in 2016!

Fans of the animation studio should also know that the studio is still going to produce original movies. After Brave, Pixar is hard at work on three new original projects which will hit screens in the coming years: The Good Dinosaur (directed by Bob Peterson and slated for May 30, 2014); untitled inside the mind project (from Up’s Pete Doctor, with a June 19, 2015release); and an untitled movie about Dia de los muertos (directed by Nemo co-director Lee Unkrich).
