╬D Recommendation: Community

This week's Fast Reference is the hilarious sitcom "Community" about a smarmy lawyer, whose education is deemed void by the bar, is forced to attend a local community college with an extremely eclectic staff and student body.

Lowdown: A lawyer is scuppered when it is discovered that he has falsely claimed to have a bachelor's degree. He is suspended and enrolls himself into Community college. He forms a study group so that he can get closer to an attractive student. The study group includes a millionaire, a former drug addict, a former quarter-back, a single mother, and a film student. "Community" heavily uses meta-humor and pop culture references, often parodying film and television clichés and tropes.

Review:
The absolutely best show on television right now. The first season starts off a little slow as it takes a few episodes for the cast to really find their legs. After the first four or five episodes though it really starts to click on all cylinders and is one of the funniest, most surprisingly touching shows around. The DVD's really hold up to repeated viewings as well. (and it only seems to be getting better as the second season has been just as good as the first) The whole cast is amazing but I would like to give a special recognition to Donald Glover as Troy. Dude is hilarious. Also Alison Brie, (Nerd Boner anyone?) shes also on "attack of the show" with Danny Pudi who plays Abed.

Important Episodes to watch: Modern Warfare 1 and 2 (Must Watch), American Poultry, Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas; there are a bunch of others too and I can't name them all.

Great show that is getting better each week. The characters are loveable and the jokes are fast paced and clever. Sure there are always happy endings but I find myself rooting for the cast so it all works out.

Overall:
This show is amazing! Extremely likeable characters, hilarious story lines, jokes every 30 seconds or less, and I mean jokes that make you laugh till you pass out or cry to.

I was completely blown away when I heard whispers in the wind that NBC wanted to Cancel the Show, "Community is 20x better then 30 rock, The Office, and Parks and Recreation...hands down... luckily they realize this and decided in renewing it instead. but what the hell.... the 4th season is just gonna be 13 episodes and moved to friday in which we all know is Death by Design to shows. Come on NBC...really?!?!

Anyway i recommend this to everyone and it is by far the best comedy out there. Let's be honest for a moment...The Office or 30 Rock got nothing on Community. So CHECK IT OUT, the first 3 seasons alone is worth it.... TRUST ME..
