Toonami Returns!!!

It has been almost 4+ years since it was taken of the airwaves on September 20,2008 but The Cartoon Network Big wigs have decided to bring back one of the greatest shows to ever hit the tv set: "Toonami"..
It is set to return starting on May 26, 2012 as part of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block.

Cartoon Network released the following press release: From Cartoon Network's official press release: "Beginning Saturday, May 26, Adult Swim brings back Toonami, the network's popular block of anime programming. Airing weekly from midnight to 6 a.m. eastern time , in addition to the return of previous series featured in Toonami, Adult Swim is also developing new original anime programming for fans."

"Toonami" has also already released their lineup and is shown as follows:


12:00 a.m. - Bleach
12:30 a.m. - Deadman Wonderland
1:00 a.m. - Casshern Sins
1:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2:00 a.m. - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
2:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop
3:00 a.m. - Bleach
3:30 a.m. - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
4:00 a.m. - Bleach
4:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
5:00 a.m. - Durarara!!
5:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop

Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins are both North American TV premieres, and the rest are things that have been running on Adult Swim for years now. 



I am super stoked for the return of "Toonami", it brought to my life Dragonball Z, Ghost in the Shell, and Cowboy Bebop...one of the greatest animes....EVER!!
