The Avengers brings together the super hero team of Marvel Comics characters for the first time ever, including Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo and voiced by Lou Ferrigno) and more, as they are forced to band together to battle the biggest foe they’ve ever faced. --(C) Marvel
Review: This is the movie all comic book fans have been waiting for and it hits it mark perfectly with a bulls-eye just like an arrow was shot by Clint Barton "Hawkeye" (Jeremy Renner) himself. It is very well acted with tremendous production value. All the actors did an outstanding job reprising their roles, especially Mark Ruffalo of making us believe he's been playing Bruce Banner all along and not Edward Norton or Eric Bana (no offense).
Joss Whedon earns kudos for being true to most of what the marvel cinematic universe has brought to the table the past 4 years and is able to help us reconnect with all of the characters while also showing their weakness and strengths such as Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) for example who appears to have an emotional breaking point moment with Loki (Tom Hiddleston). The Hulk character Completely STEALS the show with amazing actions scenes and very entertaining humor.
Overall: The Avengers is Honest and loyal enough for the hardcore fans; while being smooth and accessible for the newcomer to the series. Eye-popping action, great characters, really funny with lots of humor especially with the HULK and i strongly recommend this movie to be seen for all ages and fans or non-fans alike.
