Lindy Booth in talks for Kick Ass 2

It's been reported that actress Lindy Booth is in talks to play the role of NightBitch for "Kick Ass 2: Balls to the Wall" the sequel to the great action epic "Kick Ass".

The Hollywood Reporter bring word that Lindy Booth is in talks to play Night Bitch in ‘Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall.’ For the sequel, Aaron Johnson and Chloe Moretz are reprising their respective roles of Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl, while Christopher Mintz-Plasse will return as the villainous Red Mist. Booth would join fellow newcomers Donald Faison, who’s playing Doctor Gravity, and John Leguizamo, who’s playing Javier; a bodyguard who is assigned to protect Red Mist. Morris Chestnut is said to be replacing Omari Hardwick as Sergeant Marcus Williams. ’Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall’ is to be directed by Jeff Wadlow, with ‘Kick-Ass’ helmer Matthew Vaughn co-producing and co-writing the screenplay.

Night Bitch is one of the new heroes – none of which has any actual powers – inspired by antics of Kick-Ass and joins a team called Justice Forever. They quickly get in over their heads when an organized crime group they’re antagonizing wants payback. ‘Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall’ starts filming next month in Toronto, aiming for a June 28th, 2013 release. Probably best known for appearing in ‘Dawn of the Dead,’ ‘Wrong Turn’ and Jeff Wadlow’s ‘Cry Wolf.’ Booth also features in the television series ‘The Philanthropist,’ which starred James Purefoy, as well as the ABC show ‘October Road.’ The production has reportedly reached out to Jim Carrey for a cameo, but sources say the chances are slim that the actor will take on the role of The Colonel. ’Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall’ is an adaptation of the Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr. comic.
