EXPENDABLES ASSEMBLE!!! Clint In Talks for EXPENDABLES 3

As we sit here eagerly awaiting the EXPENDABLES 2 movie to hit theaters this weekend TOTAL FILM just body slammed the internet with a gritty, asskicking piece of news. If Expendables 1 and 2 don't contain enough 80's action-movie goodness for the likes of you... then this will surely blow your old school, atari playing, Top Gun bomber jacket wearing mind da-hell up!

Producer Avi Lerner announced:
We’ve approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys, we’ve got a character in mind for him. We’re talking to Harrison Ford. [And we want] Wesley Snipes when he comes back from prison. I’ll give you one more name, we’ve got Nicolas Cage to play [one of the characters] — and we’re going to bring Mickey Rourke back, if he won’t be too crazy. I like Mickey. And of course, all the existing stars [will return]

BOOM!!! *MIND BLOWN*

The "[And we want] Wesley Snipes when he comes back from prison." and the "we’re going to bring Mickey Rourke back, if he won’t be too crazy." lines made me laugh, you know that has to be the best cast ever signed... EVAR!!

But let's be honest here. Clint joining the team... forget Barrack Obama, that bit of news was enough to send "a thrill up my leg"! From Dirty Harry, Unforgiven, Gran Torino... this guy is bad-ass incarnate.

So if the stars remain aligned and the sequel dominates the box office, in a couple of years we will all bare witness to a movie starring The Terminator, The Transporter, Officer John McClane, RockyFrank DuxMaj. Scott McCoy, DragoChen Zhen, The Crazy-Ass Old Spice Guy and then Han Solo, BladeStanley Goodspeed and DIRTY HARRY to boot!!! God is good.

But until then folks... Expendables 2 will have to do…
