"On The Go" Movie Reviews: "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter"

"On The Go" Movie Reviews is back and for today's film is "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter"
Lowdown: Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, discovers vampires are planning to take over the United States. He makes it his mission to eliminate them. Orignally based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, who also wrote the adapted screenplay for the film.
Review: One major point of going to the movies is to escape reality. This movie accomplishes that. The story line doesn't have to be 100% logical. All it needs to do is have the viewer ask, "what if this was all true?" Great movie. No boring moments. Accomplishes what movies were meant to accomplish. The plot was good but it could of had more substance. The cast was good especially Benjamin Walker and Dominic Cooper. The special effects where very good and the 3D was excellent especially it being down done in Post Production but it added to my experince of watching the film.

Overall: In a summer where something like 20 sequels and reboots are being released, its refreshing to see a movie with a completely original story line! The best way to describe this film is Wild Wild West, The Matrix, and Blade all got drunk one night and had a threesome. This movie is the one of the few "NON" Sequels or Remakes Movie of the year, I have to give this move mad Kudos, Watched it in 3D and it was really worth it! Different then the usual action movies with a very interesting twist for the story of the great 16th President of the United States.
