Rumors of Ben Kingsley playing the Mandarin have been circulating but it's looking as if he wont be the focus of the movie. Instead, Aldrick Killian, played by Guy Pearce will be the main villain. Leaving the Mandrin in the background, to be set up possibly as the focus of Iron Man 4.

The new movie will follow the "Extremis" story arch and have minor villains like Firepower (Ashley Hamilton) and Coldblood (James Badge Dale). And we've already seen photos of Dale as Iron Patriot. No word on how that character ties into the story.
