*NEW STAR WARS 1313 Gameplay Footage

STAR WARS 1313 is LucasArts first attempt at creating a mature, darker and grittier Star Wars game. The game-demo focuses on a young (looks like in training) Bounty Hunter descending to the 1313 level of Coruscant.
The games director Dominic Robilliard sat down with GTTV's Geoff Keighley to talk about the exclusive look at the cinematics and gameplay footage. Dominic said that the game was being played on a high-end PC, however he didn't make any further comments whether or not the game will be available on other platforms. But I really hope they plan on a home console release. He went on to say that LucasArts went all out on the graphic fidelity of the game and didn't sacrifice graphics for the sake of gameplay and vice versa. He made it clear that LucasArts wanted seamless transitions between cutscenes and gameplay, so that the player wouldn't know when he/she was in control of the game. They wanted to translate the intense action of the cutscenes into the actual gameplay.

Dominic addressed the rumor of Boba Fett being the focus of the game and said he will not be the main protagonist and that the 1313 in the title refers to the level of Coruscant where a good portion of the game will take place.

LucasArts worked closely with ILM to create those iconic special effects from the signiture lasers, the cinematic cutscenes to the varied combat that players always expect from the "Star Wars" franchise.
