DC Comincs is planning to re-introduce a pre-existing character into the New 52 DCU, but change the character's sexual orientation.
DC Comics also stated they have "evolved" their stance on homosexuality, and believes the time is right to launch this gay superhero, who was previously straight and is keeping the character's identity under wraps until further notice.
